About Us
Hempstead High School, located at 201 President Street, is the sole high school in the Hempstead Union Free School District. For over a century, we have served a vibrant, diverse community, fostering academic growth, resilience, and civic responsibility. Our mission is to prepare students to thrive in a dynamic world by cultivating critical thinkers, compassionate leaders, and lifelong learners.
