Jakkai Stith, Jamir Andrews spark Hempstead in win over Freeport

Congratulations to Hempstead High School senior Dijonay Carty for being recognized as a “Leader of Tomorrow” at the 2022 Air Force Hispanic Games held at the New Balance Track and Field Facility on Saturday January 8th. Miss Carty is the captain of the girls’ varsity track team where she competes in the sprints. As a regular on the school honor roll, she has worked hard in the classroom to generate a 89.85 GPA. Dijonay will study nursing following her graduation this spring.
